League Championship Series (LCS) 2022 Summer is the 10th North American LCS season. With the LCS 2022 Summer season almost meeting its halfway mark, it’s time to take a look at the teams that are competing. This year’s season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive and unpredictable in recent memory, with a number of strong teams looking to make a run at the title. Here’s a look at some of the teams that will are competing in the LCS this summer.

100 Thieves

100 Thieves is a gaming organization that was founded in October of 2017. The organization consists of a professional competitive gaming team, as well as a content creation team. The competitive team has competed in several major tournaments and has achieved some success. The content creation team produces a variety of content for the 100 Thieves brand, including videos, articles, and social media posts.

The 100 Thieves competitive gaming team is made up of five players who compete in the game League of Legends. The team captain is Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho, and the other members are Can “Closer” Çelik, Felix “Abbedagge” Braun, Victor “FBI” Huang, and Choi “Huhi” Jae-hyun. The team’s coaches are Aleš “Freeze” Kněžínek, Bok “Reapered” Han-gyu, and Alfonso “mithy” Rodríguez

The 100 Thieves content creation team is made up of a variety of content creators, including popular YouTubers Jack “CouRage” Dunlop and Casey “FooYa” Foster. The team also includes professional photographer Eric “Espro” Espinoza, who captures photos and videos of the 100 Thieves brand.

Cloud 9

Cloud 9 has been a dominant player in the LCS for many years. They have consistently placed in the top 3, and have even won the tournament on a few occasions. However, they have fallen on hard times recently, and are currently in 7th place in the standings. If they want to make it to the playoffs, they will need to step up their game.

Cloud 9 is made up of five talented players. Their top laner, Fudge, is considered to be one of the best in North America. He has a vast champion pool and is able to play a variety of styles. Blaber is their jungle, and he is known for his aggressive playstyle. Berserker and Zven are their ADC and support, respectively. They are a strong bot lane duo that has been together for some time. Finally, Jensen rounds out the lineup as their mid laner. He is a very versatile player that can play a variety of roles.

Cloud 9 has had a lot of success in the past, but they will need to do something amazing if they want to have any chance of redeeming themselves.

Counter Logic Gaming

Counter Logic Gaming is a professional American eSports organization, established in 2010. The company fields teams in various games, including League of Legends, Gears of War, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. CLG has reached the playoffs of the LCS Summer Split twice and the finals of the League of Legends World Championship once.

CLG was founded by George “HotshotGG” Georgallidis, who started playing League of Legends in early 2010. He quickly became one of the best players in North America, and decided to form a professional team with some of his friends. The organization entered the competitive scene in April 2010, when it acquired the roster of Epik Gamer.

Since then, CLG has been a consistent presence in the LCS, always qualifying for playoffs but never winning a championship. In 2016, they finally made it to the finals of the World Championship, where they narrowly lost to SK Telecom T1.

CLG’s current League of Legends roster includes top laner Dhokla, jungler Contractz, middle laner Palafox, bot laner Luger with poome in support.

Dignitas

Dignitas is a gaming organization that was founded in September 2003. The team competes in a variety of gaming tournaments, including the LCS (League of Legends Championship Series). Dignitas has teams that compete in games such as CS: GO, Rocket League, and Smite. The organization is headquartered in the United Kingdom.

Dignitas was one of the original LoL teams and has seen success in a number of tournaments. In the LCS 2020 Summer tournament, Dignitas placed 5th overall. In the 2021 LCS Spring tournament, Dignitas took home 3rd place.

The organization has a long history of competing in various games, Evil Geniuses is especially known for their dominating performances in the popular game Dota 2.

The team has seen a great deal of success in the LCS Summer tournament, with several top-three finishes. In the 2022 Summer tournament, Evil Geniuses will be looking to continue this streak and take home the championship trophy. With some of the best players in the world on their roster, they are certainly one of the favorites to win it all.

FlyQuest

FlyQuest is a professional gaming organization that competes in the LCS (League of Legends Championship Series). The team was founded in 2017 by Jason Lake, who is also the founder and CEO of compLexity Gaming. The team’s original name was Cloud9 Challenger, but they changed it to FlyQuest in October 2017.

The team has had some success in the LCS, making it to the playoffs three times. However, they have never won the championship. Their best result was in 2018 when they finished in 2nd place.

FlyQuest is currently competing in the LCS Summer of 2022. They are currently in 4th place out of 10 teams.

Golden Guardians

The Golden Guardians were established in 2017, and is one of the newer teams in the LCS. The team has had some success but has not yet won a championship. The Golden Guardians are owned by the NBA team Golden State Warriors, and the team’s president is Rick Welts. The Golden Guardians have a strong fan base and are one of the more popular teams in the LCS. The team’s colors are gold and black, and their logo is a golden lion. The Golden Guardians are a talented team and will be one of the teams to watch in the LCS 2022 Summer.

Immortals

The Immortals organization was created in 2015 by Noah Whinston, with the goal of becoming one of the best gaming organizations in the world. The first game that they competed in was League of Legends, and they quickly rose to the top, winning multiple championships. They have also competed in games such as CS: GO, DOTA 2, and Overwatch.

The Immortals have had a lot of success in League of Legends, winning the 2016 North American LCS Spring Split and taking second place in the 2017 NA LCS Summer Split. In 2018, they made it to the semi-finals of the World Championship but were ultimately defeated by G2 Esports.

The current roster of the Immortals includes Revenge, Kenvi, PowerOfEvil, Lost and IgNar.

The Immortals are one of the most well-known and successful gaming organizations in the world, and they will be looking to add more championships to their resume in the upcoming LCS Summer Split.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid is one of the most successful teams in the LCS, with a total of 4 championship titles. They are known for their aggressive play style and strong laning phase. Many of their players have been with the team for a number of years, which has helped them build strong chemistry.

They are one of the favorites to win the LCS this year and with good reason. They have a strong lineup and are very well-coordinated as a team. If they can maintain their form, they will be a tough team to beat.

Their current lineup consists of Bwipo, Santorin, Bjergsen, sama and CoreJJ.

TSM

Team Solo Mid (TSM) is one of the oldest and most successful organizations in the competitive League of Legends. The team was founded in 2009 by Andy “Reginald” Dinh, who remains the owner and CEO to this day. TSM has competed in nearly every League of Legends tournament imaginable, winning numerous championships along the way.

The team’s roster is always one of the most hotly contested in the offseason, as they routinely attract some of the best players in the world. For the 2022 LCS Summer Split, TSM will be led by Lee “Crown” Min-ho and Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg. Crown is a former world champion and one of the most mechanically gifted players in the game, while Bjergsen is considered one of the best mid laners in the world and a legend within the TSM organization.
