League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2022 Summer is the 20th Chinese professional League of Legends league season. With the LPL 2022 Summer season almost meeting its halfway mark, it’s time to take a look at the teams that are competing. This year’s season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive and unpredictable in recent memory, with a number of strong teams looking to make a run at the title. Here’s a look at some of the teams that will are competing in the LPL this summer.

Anyone’s Legend

Anyone’s Legend (formerly known as Rogue Warriors) is a Chinese League of Legends organization that was established in 2017. The team is one of the newer teams in the LPL, and they are still looking to make their mark on the league. So far, they have had mixed results in the LPL, with some good performances and some poor performances. The team has scored consistent top 5 results in previous tournaments. They are currently 5th in the standings, out of 17.

Billibilli Gaming

Billibilli Gaming is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. They are owned by the Billibilli.com organization. The team was founded in 2017 and has quickly become one of the best teams in China. This season they are looking to get to the playoffs at least. With their current position at 14th out of 15, it will be an uphill battle to be sure. Their current roster is:

EDward Gaming

EDward Gaming (also pronounced EDG) is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in 2014 by acquiring a slot by a former team called LMQ in the 2014 LPL Spring Split. The team has had very strong performances over the years, playing first in most of the tournaments they have entered in. They are currently playing 6th in the tournament. Their roster is:

FunPlus Pheonix

FunPlus Pheonix is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in December of 2017, and they are one of the older teams in the League of Legends scene. They have made a big impact, and they are considered one of the top teams in the Chinese scene.

The team is made up of some of the best players in China, and they have had some impressive performances in tournaments. In 2019, they won the LPL Summer 2019 and the World Championship, for example. They are currently 11th out of 15 teams in the tournament. Their roster is:

Invictus Gaming

Invictus Gaming is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in 2011 by Wang Sicong, son of Chinese business magnate Wang Jianlin, and is one of the most successful clubs in China. IG has won the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) and Mid-Season Invitational multiple times and even won the World Championship once. The club also fields teams in Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Their recent performance has been lackluster, however. They are ranked only 16th out of 17 teams in the LPL Summer of 2022. Their roster includes:

JD Gaming

JD Gaming is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in 2017 when JD.com acquired the spot from QG Reapers. Their home stadium is the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. The team has done quite well over the last few years, winning LPL Spring in 2020. Their recent performance has been extremely good, as they are ranked 3rd out of 17 teams in the tournament. They are poised to become the number one team in the tournament if they keep this up. Their current roster includes:

LGD Gaming

LGD Gaming is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in October of 2012, and has competed in many tournaments, including the League of Legends Pro League (LPL), the Demacia Cup, and the International Wildcard Invitational. LGD Gaming is one of the most successful League of Legends teams in China and has a large fanbase. They also have CS: GO and Dota 2 teams, among others.

Their best result has been in 2015 when they won the LPL Summer of 2015. Over the last few years, their performance has been lackluster, however. They are ranked 15th out of 17 teams. Their current roster includes players:

LNG Esports

LNG Esports (also known as Li-Ning Gaming) is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization that was founded in 2011. The team has seen some success in China, but overall results have been lacking. They are hoping to do well in the 2022 LPL Summer tournament. Regardless of their poor performance in the past, they are currently 4th in the tournament and have done relatively well in comparison. Oh My God

Oh My God (OMG) is a professional Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was originally founded in May 2012. The team has had some success in the past, winning the LPL Spring in 2013. They have had consistent top 5 placements in the recent tournaments and are currently placed 9th. Their roster is:

Rare Atom

Rare Atom is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization, which belongs to Vici Gaming. The team was founded in 2012, which makes them one of the oldest in the LPL. So far, they have had moderate success, but they are always on the lookout for improvement. They are played 9th out of 17th, which puts them pretty much in the middle and on par to advance to the playoffs. Their players are:

Royal Never Give Up

Royal Never Give Up, often abbreviated RNG, is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in December of 2015 and has quickly risen to be one of the most successful teams in the LPL. They are owned by HUYA Inc.

The team has had some very impressive results over the last few years. They have won several tournaments, including LPL tournaments. They are currently placed 8th in the tournament, which puts them in the middle of the pack. Their roster of players is:

Team WE

Team WE (also known as World Elite) is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in 2011 and has competed in the LPL since its inception. They are one of the most successful organizations in China and have won multiple major tournaments. Their current results are very disappointing, however. They are placed dead last in the tournament, in the 17th spot. This makes it very hard, if not impossible to make the playoffs. Their roster of players includes:

ThunderTalk Gaming

ThunderTalk Gaming (also known as SinoDragon Club and Dominus Esports) is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. They are a relatively unknown team, who have not made any remarkable placements in tournaments in the past. Regardless, they are placed 10th in the current LPL tournament, which is pretty impressive by itself.

Top Esports

Top Esports is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization owned by Topsport. Founded in 2017, the team has competed in a number of tournaments, including the LPL. They have placed in the top 3 of many previous tournaments, making them one of the teams to look out for this season as well. They are doing very well currently, as they are placed 2nd in the tournament.

Ultra Prime

Ultra Prime (previously called eStar Gaming)is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. They are owned by the Nenking Group. Founded in 2019, the organization has had some mixed results in the past. The team has competed in a number of major tournaments over the years but has never made it to the top 3. In 2022, Ultra Prime will be competing in the LPL Summer tournament, where they will be looking to get to the playoffs, at least.

Victory Five

Victory Five is a Chinese League of Legends gaming organization. The team was founded in 2019 by the head of Macaos organization Mario Ho. LPL. The team has had mixed results and has never made it to first place in any tournament before. Victory Five is a young team, but it would seem that they are about to change that around. In the LPL 2022 Summer, they are currently played first, with an extraordinary 8-0 game lead. It is very exciting to see what what place they will end up in at the end of the tournament.

Weibo Gaming

Weibo Gaming (formerly known as Suning and T.Bear Gaming) is a Chinese League of Legends organization. They are owned by Weibo. The team was founded in 2016. The organization has had some impressive results over the years, with top 3 placements becoming a regular occurrence for them. They are currently ranked 7th. Their roster is:
