We’re finally getting progress on League of Legends’ ongoing comic called Sentinels of Light: Steadfast Heart Issue 3 released today. Even though, not a lot is going on in this one.
The comic starts with Senna, broken free from Thresh’s lantern. Using her gun, she fires a shot at Lucian to protect him from the Chain Warden. As Thresh disappears alongside the mist, the finally reunited couples embrace each other in a hug. But it’s too early to celebrate, as Senna says that it’s only just begun. The first part of the comic is basically a small retcon of Senna’s Reveal Cinematic, adding some details to connect them more to the ongoing Sentinels of Light event.

The master of this darkness. The one who has ruined this place. His eyes are upon the world now… And he is moving…”

Weeks later, the Sentinels arrive at the Great City of Demacia, home to Lucian and Senna. While exploring the abandoned ruins of the city, the couple realizes that they’re not alone here. Busy fighting the spawns of the mist, they do not acknowledge the presence of another person in here. Only when a steel bolt lands at Lucian’s feet, they spot the Vayne, hiding on the walls.
Soon, however, things take a fast turn. The next shot she fires barely misses Senna, and Vayne explains that the darkness within Senna is apparent and that it is her job to drive the monsters to the place they came from. But Senna saves Vayne from mist spawn and assure’s her that they’re here for the same reason. They invite her to join the Sentinels and drive the monsters back home and she agrees to this alliance. For now.
